The window celebrates women in the Bible:
The Pharoh's daughter and Moses on the left lancet, Martha and Mary in the center lancet, Ruth and Naomi in the right lancet.
Each story reflects the purpose of the YWCA: to break down the barriers between nationalities, to promote support for women in the workplace, and to create opportunities for developing the body, mind, and spirit.
Designed in the 70's, the flowing lines reflect a feminine spirit and connect all the figures with a warm sphere of color in the center surrounded by cool colors.
